Branka Cubrilo was born in Croatia and in 1992 migrated to Australia. Soon after she settled in Mosman where she lives with her daughter Althea and their cat Mia.
Branka has always been passionate about writing and published her first book at the age of 18.
Branka is the author of eight novels and two collections of short stories. She writes in three languages and published in the US and in Europe.
Two years ago she was named One of the Top Ten Writers of Literary Fiction by her American colleagues in a literary magazine run by author Caleb Pirtle.
Branka’s articles and essays and short stories have been published in many online and print magazines in various countries and languages.
She has worked as a radio producer and presenter (SBS Australia), as well as an interpreter and translator for several languages.
