TEISHA LOWRY With her unique beauty and bubbly presence, Teisha has set the beauty and fashion world ablaze like no other model in recent years. She has appeared in global magazines, editorials and advertising campaigns and is in constant demand with the industry’s top designers, editors and photographers. “The West Australian” named the curvaceous Australian as the “harmonious beauty”. Teisha was born in the outback mining town of Kalgoorlie, Western Australian. She comes from a hard working, loving family. Originally, Teisha was training to be a professional ballet dancer. She opted for modeling instead, after she was scouted at age of 18 whilst competing in the national Girlfriend Magazine model search. Not bothered by the pressures of the modeling industry she is a down-to-earth and spirited individual who is friendly and warm. Teisha has been modeling most of her adult life and is arguably one of the most popular models in Australia. She has been the face of a variety of advertising campaigns including several seasons of “Finelines”, “Kayser”, “Holden”, “Bundaberg Rum”, “VW Polo”, “Triumph”, “DFO”, “Funkita” and “Kiargo” Swimwear. She can currently be seen in ads for “Tourism Victoria”, “Funkita” and the new concept lingerie brand under the “Blue Illusion” Group, “Bellechasse”. Teisha made her television presenting debut in 2006 on the lifestyle program “The Boat Show”, along side Steve Jacobs and Glenn Ridge. She then appeared as guest on Postcards and assistant producer for “Kids WB”. Her modeling commitments permitted her to move to Sydney for some time. She then moved back to Melbourne to study Business majoring in Public Relations at RMIT university. Not only is Teisha an incredible model, she is also a savvy businesswoman. She is the face, and the brains behind “INDAH”, her own brand of luxurious body care and fragrance targeting people with an eco-evo conscience. Teisha uses the ancient traditions of Aromatherapy & Ayurvedic healing, each product has been meticulously designed by herself using raw ingredients such as virgin coconut oil, herbs, spices, fruits & flowers, all picked fresh from sustainable fair-trade farms in Bali. Her mission is to keep developing her boutique range of body care products and fragrancesusing ingredients from underdeveloped countries so she can continue her support of areas that need her assistance in organic farming and fair-trade. In 2012, Teisha will launch the first designer perfume of Alice McCall ‘Heartwood’ to the world of fashion at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia. With maturity Teisha would love to promote humanitarian causes including campaigns for the Borneo Orangutan Foundation, deforestation for the use of Palm Oil and disaster relief in Asia. Teisha is giving the big beauty companies a run for their money, she will continue her awareness of reducing plastic in product packaging and help educate people about importance of organic foods, holistic training and wellbeing and green beauty care. Teisha possesses a unique combination of beauty, intelligence, professionalism, humanitarianism and business savvy.
